Her makeup featured gold eyeshadow and a glossy nude lip. Upon arriving at the event, Beyoncé Knowles draped a long fur coat over her outfit and carried a chic black and gold purse, finishing off her look with embellished gradient cat-eye sunglasses.

She appeared to wipe away tears from her face when during her speech, Tina said, “My daughters have brought me such incredible joy and pride in my life far more than anything else. They are my crew, my tribe, my rocks, my ride or dies. They have been right there by my side at the lowest points of my life.”

Tina, who considers Kelly Rowland as her bonus daughter, added, her voice breaking, “They have cheered me on at the highest points of my life, making me feel like I could conquer anything.” At that moment, someone in the audience shouted, “Yes, you can!” as the camera panned to Beyoncé, who still appeared to be wiping away her tears.

In her speech, Beyonce and Solange Knowles’s mother, also shared, “I am asked most often what is the proudest moments you’ve had with your daughters and my answer is always the same. What I am most proud of is the human beings that they are. How they have managed to stay humble, grounded, generous, and kind, and how they manage to put it all into their art.”
Tina Knowles reflected on her life by saying that she has been blessed to experience many things and pursue various careers. However, she emphasized that her most fulfilling role has always been that of a mother.
Tina also revealed, “I’ve had the privilege of raising and helping to raise four daughters. Two that were born to me and two that were a gift to me from God.”

Tina acknowledged her past as somewhat of a rebellious teen and young adult but shared that the day she became a mother, she committed to ensuring that motherhood was one thing she wouldn’t mess up.

Now, her daughters are successful artists and entrepreneurs, who applaud her for the good job she did. At the event, Beyoncé beamed as she posed for pictures with her mother and her longtime friend and former Destiny’s Child bandmate, Kelly.
